Microsoft takes another shot at the MacBook Pro with the Surface Book 2

Given that it’s been two years since the original Surface Book landed in October 2015, we were almost convinced the Surface Book 2 would never show up. However, despite industry chatter suggesting that it wouldn’t arrive until 2018, the Surface Book 2 is here – and it launches on November 16.

That’s right, launching not even a month after the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update and mere days following the Xbox One X, the Surface Book 2 will finally be here in the flesh, complete with a multitude of new features and, perhaps more importantly, a distinct 15-inch model, each of which boast support for 8th-generation Kaby Lake processors.
